Foundational to this process, the Scientific Method utilizes mathematical principles to evaluate, analyze, and synthesize data. 
 
As such, it is expected that all students entering the Science Academy will have proficiency in all areas of elementary school mathematical concepts including, but not limited to: 
 
  • Add, Subtract, Multiply & Divide Integers, Fractions, Decimals, And Percent
  • Convert Decimals, Fractions, And Percent
  • Simplify, Evaluate, & Write Expressions
  • Proportionality
  • Powers/Roots
  • Area, Volume, Circumference
  • Solving Word Problems
  • Single-Variable Equations
  • Integer Operations
  • Number Lines and Coordinate Planes
