Volunteer & Leadership Opportunities

Volunteering is a great way to try out career options, polish your job-readiness skills, and more importantly, get involved in and give back to the community.

Use the Community Service Hours Log to track  your volunteer and leadership hours along with the Community Service Verification Form, which must be completed and signed by the organization supervisor, as supporting documentation for your log.

*DISCLAIMER: neither The Science Academy nor LAUSD endorses any organization or volunteer opportunity listed in this section. We strongly encourage students and parents to conduct additional due diligence to ensure that students find organizations and/or opportunities that are aligned with their interests and values.
