Dear Class of 2026 Families,

We made it, Supernovas! As we are preparing to celebrate the Science Academy STEM Magnet Class of 2026 at our upcoming Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, June 9th, please carefully review the important details below to help ensure a smooth, memorable, and joyful celebration of this incredible milestone.

Ceremony Information
Date: Tuesday, June 9, 2025
Start Time: 6:00PM sharp
Doors Open for Guests: 5:30PM


BEFORE THE CEREMONY
Academic & Textbook Reminders
To participate in the graduation ceremony, students must meet the following requirements by June 1st:

• Return all textbooks and library materials in good condition.
• Clear any outstanding debts.
• Meet all academic and attendance requirements.

Students must complete their Senior Clearance Form by the first day of Graduation rehearsal (June 4). 
Graduation Cap and Gown
Seniors may decorate their graduation cap (guidelines will be reviewed with students by the Senior Class Advisor, Mr. Parks).
Dress Code for the Ceremony
Students must dress appropriately for a formal event. Attire should not be disruptive, pose a health or safety risk, or display any obscene, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or gang-affiliated content. Clothing with references to alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or other illegal substances is not permitted.


DURING THE CEREMONY
The ceremony is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours.
Parking Information
The teacher’s parking lot will open at 4:30 PM. Additional parking will be available on the school basketball courts, with entrance off Case Ave.
Student Arrival Information
Students must arrive on campus by 5:15 PM. Students will report directly to the student indoor cafeteria for the processional lineup, which will be organized alphabetically by last name. No guests will be allowed in the student indoor cafeteria.
Guest Information
Guests will proceed directly to the auditorium upon arrival. Doors will open at 5:00 PM. Only guests with tickets will be admitted. Tickets will be distributed to students at the final rehearsal.
Seating Guidelines
The first four rows of the auditorium are reserved and may not be occupied by guests. Saving seats is not permitted. Guests must remain seated throughout the ceremony. Please leave balloons and large bouquets in your car so they do not obstruct the view of other guests.


AFTER THE CEREMONY
At the conclusion of the ceremony, students may keep their cap and tassel, and all guests must exit the campus.
On Wednesday, June 10th, Seniors are expected to:

• Attend school
• Return their graduation gown (unless purchased)
• Return the Science Academy embroidered stole  
• Diplomas will be distributed in the Main Office
